William Henry Harrison Park

Location: 644 Bierley Ave, Pemberville, OH 43450

Park Rules: Open daily at 8:00 a.m. Closes half hour after sunset. No beer or intoxicants. Pets must be leashed.

Playground: There is a large climbing structure for kids aged 5 to 12 years old. There is also a swing set (including baby swings) and playground structure for younger kids.

Trails/Hiking: There are 2 short hiking trails (we couldn’t hike them because recent heavy rain had flooded them).

Restrooms: Very clean restroom facilities.

Picnic shelters/facilities: There is an open picnic shelter 2 enclosed shelters that can be rented. Grills available by shelters.

Other: The park is the site of William Henry Harrison’s encampment during the war of 1812. The park is along the Portage River (fishing permitted) and has lots of large open spaces. For more information go to: http://www.wcparks.org/parks/william-henry-harrison-park/
